I have considered moving to Guernsey after being associated with the Island for many years,and wish to know the position re working and living there. I am likely to look for a job in the finance sector or other professional clerical type work, but I am aware that there are restrictions on moving to the Island.
I would like to know about how likely this is to develop, or whether I would be wasting my time by pursuing the matter. I believe you can move there if you have permanent employment but have not been able to find out more about this.
I am presently resident in UK permanently, and in full time employment, having been with the same employer for 20 years. I am single and have no real ties in respect of personal affairs.
