why are effing labor and industrial relations majors making more than engineers?

engineers are the ones that cause advances in technology. we are pretty much the only ones creating anything of any use for humanity. oh sure artists paint paintings but can they design an automation system for a pharmaceutical plant to cure a bunch of people of illnesses, or can they design ipods so little brats can listen to their ';hip hop'; to school everyday? no...and are engineers making all the money? no! MBA grads (failed engineers) and labor industrial relation grads and speech com grads are making more! what the f*ck is this bullsh*t!
